Undercrown

The throne stands empty, and four noble houses want it. Valcrest claims it by blood. Thornwald answers to no one but the forest. Morwen keeps its secrets close to the Void. Duskmere rules the sea and the night.

You start with nothing in a hand-built world where the road from one city to the next still takes time. Chop wood, mine ore and pick plants, then turn them into tools and gear at the workstations of the settlements. Settlements are where you rest, trade with other players and register at the inn you want to return to.

From level 15 you can swear yourself to one of the houses, and that choice is for good. Out in the wild you decide whether you want to fight other players: flag yourself for PvP or stay out of it. Inside the settlements, everyone is safe.
